Welcome to West Shore Community Library
The West Shore Community Library has served the residents of Somers, Lakeside, Rollins and Dayton for over 13 years. In that time a dedicated group of Volunteers and an all-volunteer Board of Directors have grown the Library from its original 1996 one-room facility into today’s 2,400 square foot facility that provides a wide range of services to thousands of patrons.

Lakeside Community Club. The Library was able to
choose approximately $1,050 worth of children's books from a 700-title book list. It was also able to choose an
additional $350 of math and science books. Bringing the
total to about $1,400 worth of children's books.
The Libri Foundation is a nationwide non-profit organization which donates new, quality, hardcover books to small, rural public libraries in the United States through its BOOKS FOR CHILDREN program.
