Information about the West Shore Community Library.
The West Shore Community Library is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is operated on a day-to-day basis by an all volunteer staff. It is a non-profit coporation supported by individual and corporate donations and gifts, and grants from foundations and other organizations.
The dedication of the WSCL volunteers is what keeps the library open and running smoothly. Last year, individuals volunteered over 4,000 hours at the front desk and checked out over 8,000 items for the 2,500 plus library patrons.
Here is how you can become a Volunteer. Call the Library at 844-3917 and the Volunteer on duty will take you name and telephone number and have the Volunteer Coordinator contact you. You may also email info@wsclibrary.org and the Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you. Or, when you visit the Library pick up and fill out the Volunteer Application Form and leave it at the front desk and you will be contacted.
We thank the following Volunteers for their tireless dedication to the Library.
We thank the following individuals and businesses for their generosity.
